This week in Arkansas Razorbacks land, has been filled with drama, rumors from fans and YouTube outlets, and a lack of clarification from the University of Arkansas. Recently Danyell Mussleman took to Twitter as it seems that the rumors have reached her daughter who is in the 8th grade. Danyelle said “Jumping on here only because people have resorted to asking my 8th grader for clarification. There is zero truth to every ridiculous rumor that I’ve read. heard and people reporting from “a good source” should go sell the story to Netflix. Sounds like a three-part series.” Now I don’t agree with this Rabid Fan Base asking a child about her father’s job. That’s just taking it too far.
Just being on Twitter for a short time, I can’t say I’m surprised. Razorback Twitter is a dark place, and in the words of my friend Unbiased, “we should just rename it Darkansas.” Fans, players, and media outlets are standing on business, and at each other’s neck about their takes on the State of the Razorbacks Basketball team as they have dropped to 10-10 and 9-16 in their last 25 SEC games.
Everybody wants to know if the Arkansas Razorbacks Men Basketball coach is looking at the front door and hedging for jobs on the West Coast. Guess we will have to wait and see.
